Welcome to the open studio of the new musical theatre performance by Augusto Pedraza

Do we need to experience love and be loved by someone at least once in our lives to feel complete?

”Hello Darling, Adios Amour' is a musical theatre work that explores the role of romantic love throughout human history through the journey of a Mexican migrant in Europe, exploring his experiences of multicultural love.

Themes of identity, culture, race, sexuality, privilege and family are explored, overcoming obstacles and complex conversations and ultimately asking the question: why do we go so far for love? We enter a stage that becomes a confessional, a text that provides an intimate and personal setting, and music that evokes the emotion, energy, sensations and many colours of romantic love. A mix of Latin American rhythms, electronic soundscapes and urban hip-hop creates a dynamic, layered concert performance.

Love is not just a feeling, it is a product of our history, traditions and geography. But today? Technology, politics and even faith are rewriting what it means.

A picture of the drama, satire and comedy of those millions of people who have experienced all different forms of love.

Inspired by personal stories of different people from Belgium, Spain, Mexico and Brazil.
