A red brick factory stands on the banks of a turbulent river. In the dry pasta department, a girl works with flour in her hair. In the sauces department works a boy who knows the secret recipe for the tastiest tomato sauce. They run into each other. A few years later, they long for a child.

Wanda and Roel are going through a fertility process. Roel has to take the collected eggs to the lab in his own car. On the way, he runs into the Craeybeckx tunnel with an empty tank and decides to run to the lab with the fertility cargo. An emotional, humorous show about the importance of sauce and a grain of salt. With as ingredients: rising flour, a pasta machine, tomatoes, the smell of basil and a song.
