'Loro plays Laura' will be documentary musical theatre

A television studio. A presenter. A live band.

The tribute band Loro comes to play cult Italian figure Laura. But how do they do it? Do they play her music, or also Laura herself? Who is Laura? How did she get forgotten? What does it mean to play her? And isn't Loro using Laura to chase successes of its own? In the studio setting, a moving quest for authenticity and impact in a manufactured world unfolds.

In 'Loro plays Laura', an unknown Fleming tries to spotlight a cult Italian artist from the 1980s at a talent show for cover bands. A mixture of live concert, documentary musical theatre and strange Friday night television.
