The music on this CD is a reflection of a writing commission, which WALPURGIS entrusted to Luk Mishalle to re-arrange songs from Al-Harmoniah's repertoire for a five-member string ensemble and two percussionists of Moroccan origin. In addition to those arrangements, completely new work was created especially written for this unique combination.
