More than kna(ap)

Funny and playful, sharp and confrontational musical theatre about living with achondroplasia (AP) or being born a small woman.

With her first theatre monologue 'More than (kna)ap', Elyne Notebaert brings attention to her own physical disability (Achondroplasia, AP, or being born a small woman) in a playful, spontaneous and humorous way. This performance gives more insight into what it is like to live with AP, holds up a mirror to the audience by confronting them with stereotypes and brings people into connection with each other and with themselves.

During her residency at musical theatre workshop WALPURGIS, Elyne Notebaert, director Aïcha Cissé and percussionist Alex H. Smith explore the potential of live music in this new performance in the making.
