For two days, we get together with a small group of makers. We show each other material that we want to share with each other, because somehow it does not let us go: a philosophical book, a heartbreaking aria, a self-written theatre text, a series of powerful portraits, Flemish folk music in a new urban context, a game we made up ourselves, a wax ritual, a piano improvisation,...
Central to working with each other is conversation. We are curious to see how we can create an in-between space in which it becomes possible to question each other about our work and what drives us, beyond taste and judgement. An in-between space where the question is central, the artwork can speak for itself, the maker is nurtured and the interlocutors are inspired.
