In this personal musical theatre performance, singer and harpist Ekaterina Levental takes the audience on the road she travelled as a teenager. That road, through several countries, began in Tashkent when she and her family could not stay in Uzbekistan after the break-up of the Soviet Union due to flaring anti-Semitism. Ekaterina plays harp, sings, dances and talks about her origins and how they became defining in everyday life overnight. And how she then sought her way into the fairy tale, as she knew it from the theatre. Driven by an inexhaustible resilience, and hope.
